A Happy Kitty Named Choco

Posted by ♥ wiwi ♥ at 1:38 PM 3 comments
Meet Choco, my new long haired tortie kitten. She’s five-month-old when we brought her home on October 14.

I took some photos of Choco when she posed prettily in her cage for the first time.

*FYI, Choco didn’t like the blue bed. I had to take it out of her cage – otherwise she decided to rest on the litterbox instead!

Whenever Choco happened to see moving things, (be it a pile of papers that gets blown away by the ceiling fan, all kind of strings or plastic covers) she would never rest easy. Choco’s all time favourite is plastic bottle caps / lids. She would play with it; move it with her hand, chase after it, attempt (more like pretend) to bite it off, and struggle with it in a funny way.

When extremely excited, Choco could spent all evening just playing. But of course, she would have to take frequent short breaks to catch her breath ^_^

Choco finds it's fun scattering my students' exam papers and after that lying on them.

I just let her having fun in messing everything as it was such a cute sight.

Imitating Plush Toy

Posted by ♥ wiwi ♥ at 10:06 AM 0 comments
I had a few collection of plush toys at home. So I made my furry friends pose, then took pictures of them ^_^ The photo shoot went well and they did a great job in front of the camera. The result was remarkable!

Hugs Baby Bear just can't help it.
My best man, Big Headz Giraffe.
A proposal from Eeyore. Should I say yes?
Well, I guess it's because we've watched too many Tyra Banks's America's Next Top Model show! Vote for your best picture.

Dream Comes True

I still remembered the time I fell in love with wabbit. It started with two very cute little wabbits (Nata & Coco) that I begged my beloved hubby to buy at Takada flea market. I learned amazing facts about wabbits by raising them. That was when I found Wabbits fascinating.

Then, I came across a website showing pictures of different breeds of wabbits. Suddenly, the idea of having Holland Lop, Netherland Dwarf and Lion Head wabbits made me really excited. However, I realized that such wabbits are very rare in Sabah.

With a little hope, I did some research related to pedigreed wabbits and tried to find breeder who is willing to export them to Sabah. Luckily, I had good feedback from some of the well known breeders in Peninsular Malaysia. After making an agreement to one of the breeder, I decided to have a pair of Holland Lop (Broken Tort doe & Solid Tort buck) and Red-Eyed White Lionhead Doe.

The process of bringing them to Tawau began. I had to apply for import permit from Department of Veterinary Services and Animal Industry at KK (thanks to my sister) and dealt with Customs Department. The other procedures of exporting them were managed by the breeder at Selangor.

Finally, everything was set. On 19 February, exactly at 2.15 pm I waited nervously for them at Tawau Mas Kargo. After signing some paperwork, the wabbits were then released by the customs officer around 3 o'clock. I thought I could die in happiness at the sight of those three beautiful creatures!

My hubby and I brought them home. I followed the instructions given by the breeder carefully so that the wabbits would settle down quickly and adapt to the new environment. Now, it has been three weeks already and all of them are doing just fine ^_^

Thank you B Berry Rabbitry for letting me have these adorable bunnies.

Meet Keichi The Menace

There is a new wabbit in the house!

It’s about time you introduce me here.
A male lionhead wabbit ^_^ We got him on 25th December 2011 at Gaya Street Fair. This little wabbit has a mane of wool encircling his head (just like a lion). I vowed not to buy any more wabbit but I just can't resist this one. He's a total cutie! I named him Keichi because of his small size.

Another beautiful pose from me.
We had him for almost 6 weeks already. His bad habit - CHEWING things! He likes to act sad so that we can get him out of his cage. But once he's outside, he starts running and chewing everything he can find. I nearly fainted when he chewed my student's homework.

Okay, that’s enough. I want to go play now.

Wabbit's Day Out

Posted by ♥ wiwi ♥ at 5:41 PM 0 comments
It was a nice day! I remembered that one time when we took Mr White for a stroll around the house on a day like this. Unfortunately, the lawn hasn't been mowed so we kind of playing hide and seek instead of a leisurely walk ^_^ Our little guy had to wear harness and leash for the first time. It's just that we want to reduce the chances of accidental escape (wabbits are known for their speed and agility). Anyway, we had a great time together.

I'm so nervous.
Looks like I have my own secret garden.
Furrybutt snapshot: Adventure of a white wabbit.
It tastes yummy.
I'm having fun today!
Mission accomplished!

Sparky Mr White

When I first saw Mr White aka si putih at the flea market, he looked irresistibly cute staying perfectly posed inside the cage (they put him there for display). He seemed a bit scared but still maintained his calmness. I was so drawn by him and then decided to get him as my pet. And the rest, as they say, is history ^_^ After months of loving care and bonding, he has blossomed into a handsome rabbit whom is well-loved by everyone in the family.
